La Fornace di Montaione, an old farmhouse built in 1891, is situated in the marvellous background of Chianti's hills, between Florence, Siena and Pisa (on the road to Sughera and Tonda, places of international renown in the tourist context). The farm, under domestic tenancy, has its name because of an old brick-kiln, that represents the last example in the neighbourhood of how bricks, employed in the buildings of typical 19th Florentine cottages, were produced.

The farmhouse, with the near barn, lovingly restored to its original splendour, it's the right choice for people who wish to spend a romantic and relaxing holiday, in a quite atmosphere surrounded by all the comforts and pleasures. La Fornace offers hospitality with its six apartments finely furnished and characterized by independent entrance, vaulted roof, warm fireplaces, old stone walls, delightful porches and equipped areas of green.

In a few minutes by car from the farm you can find San Gimignano and Volterra, two of the more important and suggestive towns of Tuscany and in an hour you arrive to Florence, Siena and Pisa.
